Light Painting

For these two photos I wanted to achieve the overall same thing of getting a good photograph that wasn’t overcomplicated, crazy, or just overall not good looking. I think I achieved this in the first photo, and in the second photo I achieved the same thing in a darker moodier aspect, all done by luck since the LED light i was using was starting to die and become dimmer. These photos were taken using a Sony NEX-6 with a 50/16 mm lens, and then they were edited in both Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

And just because I liked the fun swirls, I took a few more (arguably better photos) involving the light creating patterns with the 30 second exposure), I hope these photos are also enjoyed.

A Car, A streetlight, And A Friend

A Car, A streetlight, And A Friend

This photo I’ve been wanting to accomplish for a very long time. I tried a few months ago and sadly those photos were very bad with a mixture of unpreparedness, bad camera settings, and a street light that was too dim. But finally I’ve fixed all of those things and finally have gotten a good set of photos, I was going for one good photo (the one at the top of the post is my favorite), but ended up getting quite a few good ones (and some odd ones, like the last 3), so I decided to post all of the ones i thought were good, they are practically the same photo, just with different poses. All photos were taken with a Sony NEX-6 using a 16-50 MM pancake lens, and all photos were edited using Adobe Lightroom.

All That’s Left Is Love

Below are the two photos before editing.

For this photo what I did was take the two separate photos shown above, (I even had a blurry background to make it a little more impressive). Put them both into photoshop, took the lower photo and cut it and added it into the other photo, and then used the lasso tool to have it be just the 7″ record (for anyone who cares, the 7″ single is “All That’s Left Is Love” by Angels and Airwaves limited to 1500 on Halloween orange), then I cut all the excess picture out so it just appears to be floating between the hands.

Disney World 2020

Over Christmas break me and my family went to Walt Disney World. Here are some of the photos I quickly took while trying to catch up to my parents walking away from me. All photos were taken on a Sony NEX-6 and edited late at night using Adobe Lightroom.
